*A maximum of 10 hours will be billed for any 24 hour period. For instance if an academic user has a 24 hour run with the assistance of a lab tech, only the first 10 hours are billable. This amounts to $500.


- The fees above are for "instrument time" only.

- Instrument time charges begin at the time the microprobe was signed up for and ends when a run finishes.

- Academic rates do not apply to professors, reasearchers, or students performing analytical work for a company. Such users are considered as industrial clients and will be billed as such.

 

- Additional time spent by the lab manager processing data or images and writing reports will be billed the same hourly rate.

Scheduling

Please schedule instrument time at least 1 week in advance. We are happy to discuss cost estimates for analytical work with potential customers, and any initial discussions are free of charge.
