Title: "Global Famine after Nuclear War"

This lecture has been made possible by a generous donation by Richard and Linda Turco to the Graduate Program in Atmospheric Science. Richard Turco is a Professor Emeritus at the University of California, Los Angeles, and an alumnus of Rutgers University, where he received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering in 1965. His research has included a wide range of topics in atmospheric science, including atmospheric chemistry, radiation, climate, and aerosol microphysics. Among his many honors, he received a MacArthur Foundation Fellowship in 1986.

The lecture, entitled "Global Famine after Nuclear War," will be given by Distinguished Professor Alan Robock of the Department of Environmental Sciences, and will be followed by a reception in the IFNH Atrium.
