Mazvita Chikomo further demonstrates her commitment to inclusive scientific leadership through her role as co-chair of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Hydrology Student Section (H3S) Subcommittee, where she helps guide initiatives that foster student engagement and professional growth across the global hydrology community. She has also contributed to efforts focused on strengthening the societal impact of research, serving on a team that organized a webinar titled “Reframing Research Language for Impactful and Relevant Broader Impact Statements.” The group shared their work at an AGU session and expanded its reach through a published H3S blog post, underscoring Mazvita’s dedication to ensuring that scientific research is communicated in ways that are accessible, inclusive, and meaningful for diverse audiences.
