Two earthquakes in nine months do not necessarily mean they are becoming more common, SAS geologist Greg Mountain told NJ News-12 after last Friday's 2.4 magnitude earthquake in Bergen County. "We got two here in one year," Mountain, a professor of earth and planetary sciences said in the broadcast report. "But we may not get any for several more."
