EPS Assistant Teaching Professor, Dr. Crystal Pletka has been selected to join the 2023-24 cohort of the Provost’s Teaching Fellows. This program is hosted by Chancellor-Provost Conway’s office and was initiated in 2021 to support pedagogical innovation aimed at improving student learning outcomes. Dr. Pletka was selected on the strength of her application and the strong endorsement from EPS chair, Dr. Jim Wright. She will be using this experience to revamp the asynchronous Dinosaurs course to better align with the most up-to-date pedagogical practices for online education.
