The Geological Society of America has announced that our Emeritus Professor Gail Ashley is the 2020 recipient of the Rip Rapp Geoarchaeology Division Award. This award is given to honor a fifetime of excellence and impact in the field of Archaeology. Awarded annually, this award also recognizes the recipients for theor excellence in research, teaching, service, and commitment to integrity and ethical standards.
